The hospitalization department is a place patients will be taken for extra treatments and cares when surgeries and other operations are finished. Four stories from the Gandhi Hotel-Hospital (stories No. 8, 9, 10 & 11) are allocated for this purpose. Every story contains eight double bedrooms with private VIP services with the aim of providing the best facilities for patients and accommodating their partners and families.   The hospital’s policy for all the personnel of the department is evincing mutual respect to prevent the occurrence of any discomfort or trepidation for the patients, their partners or families. In addition, distinctive facilities such as LCD TV, wardrobe, refrigerator, phone, internet, adjustable air conditioning, bathroom, and folding couch are provided. َ A nurse or waiter, so to speak, is present in all rooms to give services such as drug and food to the patients. Furthermore, in each section, resuscitation equipment, portable monitors and other medical equipment are exclusively provided. Another advantage that could be counted for this department is the use of PTS intelligent system for handling patient records and reducing the unnecessary walking and movements of the individuals as much as possible. Experienced university professors, dexterous physicians, surgeons and nurses with RN and MA degrees are more than ready to provide medical services to the clients. Only after passing the training courses (based on accreditation standards, infection control, safety, respecting the customers and working with the equipment, etc.), will the nurses be recruited in the hospitalization department. Besides, in each section, a nurse fluent in several languages (English, French, German, Arabic, etc.) will be present. The specified values penned down for the nurses are:

Hospitalization departments include:

  • ”Surgery

    These two departments have 12 beds and four VIP rooms for providing services to the patients in general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastic and internal surgeries, POST CCU and the POST ICU.
  • ”Pediatrics”

    This department has 13 beds, 3 VIP rooms and two isolated rooms. The unique feature of the department is its elegant design perfectly tailored for infants. The kind and altruistic behavior evinced by the nurses in all departments especially this one provides a very friendly and disease-proof type of atmosphere. The department is ready to provide services to infants with surgical or internal diagnoses.
  • ”Gynecology”

    Gandhi Hotel-Hospital department of obstetrics and gynecology is a leading institution in all aspects of women’s health. Our physicians and staff provide world-class expertise in the specialty and sub-specialties of obstetrics and gynecology. A full range of general and subspecialty inpatient and outpatient services are available to women of all ages. The services include female-related infections (acute and chronic), female hormonal disorders (e.g. skin and hair disorders, irregular or abnormal menstrual periods), ovarian diseases treatments (cysts and benign and malignant tumors), uterine fibroids treatment and surgery, cervical ulcers, laparoscopy (diagnostic and therapeutic), breast exams, cancer testing, maturity problems’ treatment, pre-marital and preconception consultations, prenatal care, menopause treatment and care, mammography, bone mineral density (BMD) tests and osteoporosis treatment.
  • ”Maternity

    This section has three inpatient beds, one delivery bed and all equipment for monitoring fetus and mothers’ vital signs. The department is suitably designed for mothers to be taken care of when having baby (either natural delivery or cesarean).
  • ”Part

    The aim of Day Care section is to reduce patients’ wait times and raise clients’ satisfaction. It has three operating and recovery rooms and is ready to give services to outpatients who need not more than one day of hospitalization. Infants’ dental surgeries which need to be performed under anesthesia are also carried out in this department. After anesthesia, patients will be monitored for a couple of hours before being discharged. If the need be (based on physicians’ discretion or the preference of the patient), patients can be hospitalized in other sections.
